Use pears that are firm but ripe, a quality Gorgonzola and toasting the walnuts is an absolute must. Toss with Gorgonzola vinaigrette.
- Romaine or spring greens
- fresh pears
- walnuts, toasted
- Gorgonzola Cheese
- Gorgonzola vinaigrette
In a large bowl, toss lettuce with some of the Gorgonzola vinaigrette.
To serve, place salad on individual plates, top with sliced pears, toasted walnuts and crumbles of Gorgonzola cheese. Drizzle some of the remaining dressing over the salad.
